Polyp Lab Reef-Roids 4oz Information

Product Manuals & Documentation

Do you want to recreate the majestic coral world under the ocean? You can do so with Polyp Lab Reef-Roids from Pet Store! The particles of this coral food measures a mere one hundred and fifty to two hundred microns, which is the perfect size for corals that are filter feeders to eat. Unlike other coral food in the market, Polyp Lab Reef-Roids does not contain fishmeal. It is made purely with natural planktons that are found in the ocean mixed with a particular kind of zooplanktons that only this product has.

This is what filter feeders usually eat in the sea, making Polyp Lab Reef-Roids a healthier diet for them. To feed, first you must mix a teaspoon of the particles for every one hundred gallon of your aquarium to some water from the same aquarium. When it`s completely dissolved and has turned into a paste, you can then give it to the corals. Ideally, this should be fed through injection while the pumps are turned off.

But if you don`t have a syringe, you may opt to dump the paste in the area where there`s high water flow and then turn the pumps off. With continued use, you will distinctly see your corals grow faster as well as have improved coloring. You will also notice superb polyp extension and an overall healthier appearance. Have a thriving underwater paradise right in your own home. Give your corals some Polyp Lab Reef-Roids today!

Although originally engineered for feeding the Goniopora genus, this product has been very well received in the hobby as an excellent food source for all filter feeding corals.

The particle size of Reef-roids is around 150-200 microns. This is THE perfect size for Goniopora to feed on. When using Reefroids, you will notice excellent polyp extension on all filter feeding corals. Zoanthids, Mushrooms and Ricordia will demonstrate a distinct feeding response. And with continued use, your filter feeding corals will experience faster growth and better colors.

Ingredients: Unlike many other "coral foods" on the market, Reef-roids is NOT made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can rapidly degrade water quality. Reef-roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a specific species of zooplankton that is unique to our product.

Directions: For each 100G of your system volume, mix one teaspoon of Reef-roids with some water from your tank. Stir this mixture until it has completely dissolved. We highly recommend target feeding the paste to your corals using a syringe or turkey baster while circulation pumps are turned off. Otherwise, pour the paste in an area of high flow before turning off the in-tank circulation pumps.

One container will feed a 100G tank for 3 months. (Estimate based on 2 feedings per week).

Guaranteed Analysis:, Crude Protein 60% min, Crude Lipid 20% min, Ash 6% max, Crude Fiber 8% max, Moisture 6% max, Astaxanthin 150-200 ppm.

Polyp Lab Reef-Roids 4oz Reviews

"Very Good Product" - Product Review by Sherrod Allen (Posted on 5/17/12)

Great!

Comments: My LPS and filter feeders seem to like it a lot. I noticed my Scoly extends her tenticles when I feed the tank. However, it's really no better than Coral Frenzy or Cyclop-eeze and it's a lot more expensive. The only great benefit is that it doesn't tend to pollute the tank. If it was really superior to the other products, I would have given it 5 stars.

Comments: I have SPS / LPS / and Polyps in a 90 gallon tank with sump. This feeds all my corals and filter feeders. Been using this for two weeks and so far everything looks great. I prefer this over the oyster feed and will purchase this again in the future. 4 oz product seems to be PLENTY for many many months

Comments: This is some of the best stuff I have ever used. I truly does not alter the water parems even by my heavy feeding standards. This is perfect for Gonioporas and other filter/spot feeders feeders. I also used it to get my Sun Coral to open up at the same time every day (which took a lot of work) Thus, the importance for it to not have an altering effect on water quality. All around great product and I will buy it again. It lasts a long time...

Comments: Ok you guys I tried this stuff for two month now before I wrote this review. Before I started using DT's my torch coral almost died. So I used DT's and it's been doing great since then. I stopped using Dt's replacing it with Reef Roids and it's still doing great along with every thing else. This is the only thing I feed my tank and the Nitrates are zero folks, Zero. Anemone's are feed frozen Krill. Fish, shrimp are feed flakes and pellets, no more frozen food, keeps Nitrates down. Great product!
