Great for the price

This is my first purchase from this site, and I am very pleased. I received it in a few days and (being the procrastinator I am) installed it a week later. :)It came with all the necessary hardware, instructions and the door itself. Everything was packaged great.Upon opening the box, the first thing I did was to swing the door open and see how it worked, I quickly noticed one of the magnets used to hold the door closed fell off, they were siliconed in from the factory very poorly. I used super glue to secure them in place. Once the door is installed they are pressed against the door, so they wont go anywhere after installation even if the glue doesn’t hold.I’m the type to just throw away the directions and figure it out for myself, but not a good idea for this product. I didn’t get far before I was digging them out of the trash. After reading the directions I decided to swallow my manhood and follow them to a “T”. They are not the best directions, kind of vague at points, pictures were not as helpful as they could have been, but I took my time and gave it as much respect as I could and it’s done. It works very well. Magnets are very strong, was worried my cat was going to have issues, but he figured it out pretty quick. I just had a cat door before and the wind would hold it open, I doubt this door will have that problem due to its size and the strength of the magnets. Now my 3 month old Great Pyrenees can get in and out without it looking like the Ace Ventura movie where Jim Carry was trying to get out of the Rhinoceros. Ok, so overall, I rate this as a great buy. Mainly because of the price, had I paid $90 for it at the local store I would have been upset. But for $46 it’s hard to complain. Here are my only cons:Directions weren’t too goodMagnet fell outThey want you to hacksaw the mounting bolts to size for a flush finish.
