"Aquazone Plus 200"

Comments: This is my second purchace of an Auazone ozonizer and with our 180 gal. tank this is a perfect fit for our needs. I thought the dryer would be larger than the one sent. We have a larger one available and will most likely use it because of the high humidity living this close to the Gulf coast waters.

"Excellent Uint"
- Product Review by Louis Hoffman

Comments: I've been running mine for 2 weeks now,and the response by tank inhabitants has been very positive. My first ORP reading was 177mV! I set the unit to put out 10 mg/hr, and over the last two weeks, I've brought my ORP up to 170 with nothing but positive results. One interesting note is that my system runs two ASM G series skimmers, a 2 series and a 3 series. The ozone is injected into the venturi of the smaller unit, and for the most part, I now get very little skimmate from that unit. When I first turned the ozone unit on though, the larger skimmer collected the blackest nastiest skimmate I've ever gotten out of a skimmer. That lasted for a couple of days, and now the skimmate is a nice dark slimy brown. I pull about a 3/4 cup of this each day. My system is happily running with an OPR of 370.

Downsides? Yea, one big one that I didn't even think of before the purchase. You cannot calibrate the unit to a standard. All that you can do is compare the readout against a known standard and make adjustments with your target setpoint based on the error between your unit and the standard solution. I checked my unit yesterday, and it did hit 400 mV, so I guess that I can't complain too much. However, having the ability to calibrate the unit to a standard would get it 5 stars from me.

To all of those folks who complain about the useful life of desiccants, do what I did. Go to your local hardware store, buy a clear 4" fluorescent lamp cover, get a 1 1/4" PVC end cap, a 1 1/4" female slip/male NPT thread, and a female NTP cap for that. Use PVC glue to glue on one end and the male NTP fitting on the other. Screw and tap the end caps for John Guest type speed fittings, hang the tube in a vertical configuration, and Whola! You now have a desiccant tower that should last weeks before regeneration.

"Very good but..."

Comments: Excellent product, I hve a 2000gallons tank, orp was 21, reached 250 in one week; but since its a controller, it should also be able to shut the airpump off, when disired ORP is reached. It stops the Ozone but the airpump still goes on and you cant save the silica gel...

"Good Product"

Comments: Good Product, the smaller drier is pretty useless unless you are going to recharge every other day. The 500cc drier will go a couple of weeks before recharge.

"Very effective"

Comments: This is my second ozone unit, and it is definitely the better of the two. The output is higher on the Red Sea than on my Ozotech, and the ability to dial in the ORP setpoint and measure and control with the probe is very useful. We are pumping into a 550 gallon fish only setup that is heavily stocked. The unit has made a real difference in activity level and water clarity.

"Red Sea Ozonizer"
- Product Review by Gregory Powell

Comments: I really like the ozonizers pin point settings.
Don't forget to order a air pump with a dial to set the amount of air needed to reach your settings along with enough ozone hose to protect your family from having ozone escaping into your home which can harm your equipment, furnishings and animals.
The unit requires around a week to balance out and runs only after the setting drops below the your preset marker.Yes, I am recommending you add the unit to your aquarium.

"Sea Water???"
- Product Review by Lance Pender

Comments: I have this unit on my 240 gal tank, 330 gal system.

After just six hours. My wife and I are amazed at how clear our water is and how much more active the fish are. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger or better air dryer. We live in FL and its really humid down here. So, I have to re-generate the beads everyother day for the 250 air dryer. I will be buying the 500 or DIY my own. Overall, great unit, easy to set up and well worth the money.

Comments: It is realy a great device, I advice every buddy to use it in every marine tank, It makes the water exactly like sea water, it maks it crystal clean, white, healthy, kills germs and harmful bacteria, and terminates bad algaes. It is the most important device in any marine tank.
