Too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in your aquarium water can cause fish stress and diseases that may harm your aquatic livestock. The Solenoid works with the use of a hose barb with a lock and a thread that is 1/8 inches thick. Simply attach the control valve in between the pressure reducer and the needle valve using the hose and the thread. The hose is attached to the CO2 tubing while the thread is placed into the needle valve. You can also opt to attach the control valve directly to the pressure regulator’s outlet. It can be used in all CO2 systems and can be easily connected to any pH controller or time switch.
