Providing your marine inhabitants with a seabed that mimics the appearance of the base of the ocean is made easier with the Seachem Flourite from
Pet Store. This product presents you with two benefits at the price of one. You can use this as a decoration for your tank`s bottom, but it can also be employed in such a way as to offer your aquatic plants with a means for support. This is available in a 15.4-pound pack, which is enough to adorn regular-sized cases.
This product provides you with a suitable alternative for sands and undergravels. It is also an excellent substitute for natural substrates, which are sometimes hard to maintain. As its name says, it is purely made from fluoride, which is the ideal strengthener of all organisms that require Calcium, specifically your corals and shells. Each piece is coated with a special substance, which makes it long-lasting, but still maintains the balance of your water`s pH level. Furthermore, these ornaments are great for your plants, which need support, as well as the nutrients that these blocks contain.
With the Seachem Flourite, you can now decorate your
aquarium with several items, which will not only make your tank look beautiful, but will also provide your plants with the nourishment and support that they need to grow taller.
Seachem Flourite™ is a specially fracted stable porous clay gravel for the natural planted aquarium. Its appearance is best suited to planted aquaria, but may be used in any aquarium environment. Flourite™ is most effective when used alone as an integral substrate bed, but it may be mixed with other gravels. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary. Flourite™ is not chemically coated or treated and will not alter the pH of the water. Although pre-washed, it should be rinsed before use to remove residual dust. Dust can also be minimized by filling tank slowly and dispersing water so that the Flourite™ bed is not disturbed. Slight initial cloudiness is normal and will clear rapidly (2–12 hours). This bag is sufficient for about a 5 cm (2 inch) deep bed in a typical 40 L (10 gallon) tank. Recommended use is 1 kg (2 lbs) for approximately each 200 cm
2 (31 in
2) of tank bottom at a depth of 5 cm (2 in). 7kg (15.4 lb.) bag.
