Seachem Laboratories Marine Buffer - 250 Grams Information

Product Manuals & Documentation

Making sure that your aquarium water possesses a pH level that is safe and comfortable for your marine inhabitants does not need to be a tedious process when you have the Seachem Marine Buffer from Pet Store. This solution comes in a 250-gram pack, which consists of a fine powder that you only have to sprinkle into the water regularly, or whenever you see fit. This is suitable for reef livestock, which require a higher amount of acidity in their environment. This product will save you the trouble of setting up various maintenance devices, which you will just use occasionally.

As its name says, this product acts as a buffer, which will prevent the water from being too alkali. Since studies have shown that a high level of carbonate hardness gives your fishes some undeserved stress, this product aims to keep them happy by providing them with an environment where they`ll feel very comfortable in. This will not only assure you of a radiant aquarium, but it will guarantee a productive livestock, as well, because the surroundings will be fit for breeding and propagation. The formulation is quite safe, and you can apply this directly into the water, even if your pets are inside the case.

Your fishes are sure to love the fresh and convenient environment that a daily dose of the Seachem Marine Buffer can give to them.

Seachem Marine Buffer is the original and still unique buffer with a pH of 8.3, designed to adjust pH to 8.3 and maintain both pH and alkalinity(KH). It is formulated not to disrupt the natural ionic balance of marine water with prolonged use. Marine Buffer contains a natural balance of sodium, magnesium, calcium, and potassium salts of carbonate, bicarbonate, and borate, formulated for enhanced and lasting buffer capacity at pH 8.3 without sacrificing calcium. It dissolves readily and does not obscure water clarity. The original Marine Buffer remains clearly superior in both composition and performance and is the choice of discriminating aquarists. A 250 g bottle treats 800–1600 gallons. Marine use only.

Comments: I've used other brands which I think is better because they never left the water cloudy nor whiten my powerhead and heater in the mixing bucket.

"Best Ph Buffer" - Product Review by Hernan Yamakawa (Posted on 2/3/11)
Rating
Excellent!

Comments: Since I started using Seachem Marine Buffer (1year +) my PH level remains at 8.3 Daytime and at 8.2 nightime, when I was using other brands the PH dropped at 8.1 Nightime. So happy with it and my SPS as well, use it as directed or as needed and your corals will grow and thrive! IMO keeping Ph and Kh parameters constant and at the right level are more important than any other suplement, (180gls SPS tank). The website has the best deal for this product.
