Comments: This cable enabled me to my aquaController Jr to my pc. With that connection and aquanotes I can pull the history of temp & PH as well as manually turn devices on or off through the PC.
<br />The only issue with this is that the External input (pins 1&2) are not broken out from this cable.

Comments: I hooked it up to my ACJr then to a IOGear serial to bluetooth adapter and now I have a wireless interface from my computer to the ACJr. Saves me quite a bit over going to the full ACIII.

Comments: If you buy a AC Jr better get this,should come standard with AC Jr because update firmware impossible without,bought my AC Jr started reprogramming used it about 3 hrs ,screen went blank company said glitch in firmware need update now I have to wait on serial cable that I ordered extra to use my AC Jr again,lot of hassle,Not happy with controller yet,but I'll wait for cable and update to give review on it.

Comments: I honestly couldn't tell you if the cable is good. It appears to be a good quality cable but I can't use it. I didn't realize that the port I have on my computer is a video port, it sort of looks like a serial port. I never used the port and just made the assumption that the cable was correct. I'm not going to bother sending it back because shipping would cost a a third of what the cable costs. Just be sure you have a serial port if you order this. I only rated this product average because I haven't been able to use it, I just wanted to make sure others don't make the same mistake I did.

Comments: Save yourself the hassle and buy the AC3 with ethernet. After buying the AJ Jr, the serial interface, searching high and low for extension cables to make it to the computer, I still cant hook up my serial interface without the ground loop connector for even more money.
<br />For a few more dollars (than all of this headache) you can get a better Aquacontroller and have less hassle hooking it to your computer
