The all-new AquaMaxx Star S-1 combines top-quality materials, a high-efficiency pump and innovative design to deliver a superb calcium reactor. Special injection design reduces wear-and-tear and extends the life of the Italian-Made Sicce pump. Conical lid virtually eliminates all dead spots inside the reactor and recirculates unused CO2 to maximize efficiency. With a built-in a pH probe holder, you can easily keep an eye on the pH inside the calcium reactor with a pH monitor or control the CO2 with a pH controller. With the AquaMaxx Star Calcium Reactor, CO2 is injected on the outlet side of the pump. This prevents cavitation and helps to prolong the life of the pump. Outlet-injection also ensures that the flow rate inside the reactor stays constant to maximize efficiency.
CO2 recovery design re-injects excess/unused CO2. This helps to lower CO2 usage and to make sure no excess CO2 goes back to your aquarium.
