"Works as advertised"

Comments: These things work great! I have a pair suspending my AI Sol blue unit. Just make sure you don't hang anything over 20 pounds, though, as I suspect the nylon and the plastic loop holes at the top won't be able to hold the load.

"Works like a charm"

Comments: Extremely easy to install, fuctional. Wish it came with the hangar for the fixture. Includes two eyelet screws, but these are not compatible with Tek lights and if you don't have the "V" hanging apparatus from the fixture, adaptation ensues. However, if you do have it, it installs quickly and easily and does what it should no problem.

Comments: these things are great I'm using them on my Odyssea light system for my reek tank it's nice to lift up my lights from were they seat on top of the canopy plus the light stays were you want it cuased from the tention you can adjust. Then i can feed or do maintenance very simply. If you do have a higher ceiling then its easy to add some more extra length to the cord to make up the higher ceiling. its good for up to a 8 foot standard ceiling.

"Worked as intended"

Comments: We use these in our custom canopy. We have a "floating" lighting system which is held by these. We wanted to be able to raise and lower the lights when needed. This allowed us to do just that.

Comments: I tossed these on my light, and screwed them into the ceiling during my lunch hour. Very easy to install, and they work great. I love having the ability to raise or lower my light based on my needs at the time. I'm very pleased overall.

"Not long enough 4 high ceiling"
- Product Review by Guy D Molinari

Comments: Would not work for my ceiling height unless I suspended them from cables several feet from the ceiling which I did not like the look of. I Measured 59" total length from the top loop where you hang it to the tip of the cloth line spooled inside it. Maximum extension length is 4 1/2 feet according to their website.
Spool itself is 3.5" long by 2" wide
Max load is 11 lbs each for a total of 22 lbs

I would recommend this if you have a standard 8 foot ceiling.

Comments: Worked well for my application, holds the light steady, and you can move it up or down for tank maintenance without readjusting anything.
