Comments: Works like a charm for my critter-trail housed hamsters. It keeps the clean up alot less, once my hamsters where trained. I have used this one for many diffrent hamsters over 12 years, the only problem is if your hamster realizes the lid opens (you may be playing a late nite of hide and seek) but i found a piece of tape will keep the excapeartist at bay. I also found out you don't need to replace it when a new hamster is starting up just mix vinegar hot water and dish soap will take all the old hamster's smell off.

Comments: My three mice really just do not understand it. This is not surprising because mice don't potty train well, but I thought it was worth a try. I put soiled bedding in it and the rest of their cage had just been cleaned, but they just wanted to dig in the litter and also tried eating it (it says it's "non-toxic," I really hope this means "safe to eat"). Not really a waste since I can still use to outhouse as an additional cubby/nest/hideout. Definitely does not help with cage cleanliness though.

Comments: Fuzzy, my hamster, used the outhouse the fist day he moved into his habitat. Potty litter was there and he used it several times that day..... Then he decided to move his bedding into the outhouse, and use his sleeping compartment for his potty! Doesn't matter.... he loves his "little sleeping cubicle" that used to serve as his outhouse. His old sleeping quarters remains his exapnsive potty area, potty litter and all! So its all good!

Comments: This is a great hamster potty! My hamster uses it all the time - i think it will cut down on how frequently i have to clean the entire cage.
