Comments: I got the large and my chinchilla loved it! Definitely want to go with large if you have one chin, and X-large for two chins

Comments: I bought this in the large size for my chinchilla, and it is definitely big enough for him, the xlarge just seemed like it would take up too much space. I really like this hide, but I gave it 4 stars because even though it says there are no metal parts, I don't know how true that really is. I will have to keep an eye on it when he chews it to bits. Other than that, its great. My little guy kept using the window to get inside before he figured out there was a door, lol.

Comments: Our guinea pigs sleep alot in their new homes. They also chew on it, which is good because it files their teeth. Cleaning is ez, just use some vinegar and water and let dry. If its really dirty, I use sandpaper and a file. Will last quite a while and is well constructed. A+++++

Comments: Have dwarf hamsters and they seem to prefer these for their 'home' over the plastic

Comments: I have a Chinchilla, she loves it, and its roomy inside so she could turn around inside,I also have one for my guinea pig, he had a smaller gone but got bigger and it was to small for him, this woodland house xlg, it better for him, Plus is safe for them to chew.

Comments: I have 3 gerbils and they loooove to chew ALOT. At first I bought them the small house and they loved that one too, however now that they are full size, they have outgrown the small one. I have found that they can chew and chew and chew on these houses and they take a lot of gerbil work before they would ever be able to chew themselves out of a home. My little guys are so excited that theynow have 2 exit holes to play and run in and out of; and it is still snug and cozy enough to so that they feel secure for their naps.

Comments: After trying some other shelters (plastic, straw, twigs, and dis-assembly types), we finally settled on this one. Even though our pigs can move them around (they lift and then push them), they have not been able to destroy them. The wood is fine and I have no concerns about them nibbling on it (in contrast to the plastic ones). Unfortunately our local pets store had only one (the one tested first) and we needed two of the same to prevent fights.
