"Tom' s Flow Meter"
- Product Review by Stepen Davidson

Comments: I have been in the Tropical Fish Industry for over 30 yrs. I am using Tom's flow meter to regulate the flow of water through my UV. You have to tighten all four threaded fittings as tightly as you can, not using a wrench. I was afraid using a wrench might crack the fittings or housing. After several attempts, I was able to stop the all the drips. For the money, you can't go wrong. Stephen

Comments: With the money I paid for the Tom Flow Meter, I wasn't expecting too much. Well, I got a whole bunch more than I expected. A high quality product that works great, and was easy to install. With the flow meter, I was able to properly dial in the flow rate to my sterilizer. I highly recommend this product.

Comments: Easy to use. My only gripe is that it should come with reducers.

Comments: did exactly what i wanted. i had really no true way to figure out how much head pressure i had. works great. even though its not recomended for saltwater i felt i had to try it anyway. the only problem i had was plumbing with pvc. i had to modify it to hard plumb into 3/4" PVC which wasn't that hard. i give it a four because of the quality of the plastic. It will break especially if you plan on modifying it to PVC. not the best quality but will last you as long as you are careful. thank you for fast shipping like always!

Comments: Ordered two of these for use with my 180g reef tank. They are great and allow you to dial in the flow needed for chillers, UV's, returns, etc. Will be ordering one more soon. Only draw back is they are not available for situations requiring less that 50gph.

Comments: Hi all who loves the aquarium world. I just fixed my flow meter to my system. It is unbelievable, it really is.I found out that I had very bad circulation in my tank. Now that my flow meter is set I doubled my flow, and I am using my submersible pump as what I have spend for it. I really suggest to any serious fish hobbyst, that you should not be without it. Highly Recommended.Roger AquilinaMaltaEurope
