<br />This Tower Shock Buster Portable GFCI, seems high quality and I have placed my utter confidence in its ability to perform properly.
<br />Now to train my son to leave the fish and their tank alone.

Comments: Saved me at least once already. It also told us there was a problem with our old power strip. Even if the device was off it would fault when plugged in. Got a new Zilla Digital Power Center (read that review too) and no more faults. Our city actually requires any circuit used with or near water to have a GFCI installed. With our uber old building it is not an option to replace the receptacles or install a central breaker. This is perfect.

Comments: I purchased the Tower Shock Buster Portable GFCI to replace a TRC ShockShield portable GFCI. After more than 2 weeks of use, the Tower appears to be superior. My main problem with the TRC was that it would trip for no apparent reason on about 20% of the times when used for charging a plug-in hybrid car (up to 10A load). So far, the Tower has only tripped when the Test button was pressed, as it should. The Tower also provides a bright indicator light that can be seen from a distance to verify that it has not tripped.

Comments: No complaints.

Comments: bulky, need one that automatically turn on again after 5 minutes or so instead of having to push a button. Also, an outlet on the side would be nice
