"decent pump"

Comments: I've had to replace this pump every 2-3 years. it sits only in ro/di waer, no salt, alk or kalk added extends the lifetime IMO. Its pretty cheap, and the Tunze ATO is still the best out there. Considering it turns on/off 10-30x per day, and is not a continuous running pump, its not too bad.

"Burns out easily"
- Product Review by Dan Komaromi

Comments: I already burned out two of these. Now I'm buying the Tunze Switched Outlet instead so I can connect a different 120VAC pump. The Osmolator is a great top-off system but this pump is guaranteed to fail after a few years of normal use.

"tunze osmolater pump"
- Product Review by Harry Ehlers

Comments: The Tunze Osmolater pump works fine. It does a good job.
<br />The only drawback is that it is not durable. If it runs dry, it is ruined. If run under ideal conditions, it still needs to be replaced after three to four years

Comments: I give an A+, my old pump last me about three years and finally gave up. The price went up $2.00 more and it was worth it.

"tunze osmolator pump"

Comments: This work great for a while, but then after a couple months, they stop working completely. You have to replace them once a year it seems. This is now my third replacement! I just wish they would last a lot longer than they do now.

"rodi=best kalk= fair"
- Product Review by Paul Lackenbauer

Comments: I tore apart my old one and found that the top part does not have epoxy around the two wires. I think this pump could be made better than a maxi jet and generally it works very well for fresh water not so well for kalk.

"Descent Pump for the price"
- Product Review by Lorraine Richards

Comments: I use my pump on the Osmolator and have replaced two of these in the past year. They are fairly inexpensive, run quiet, but I would have a spare on hand in case they fail. I think my pump failures are due to faulty checkvalves that allowed kalk to get into the pump.
