Two Little Fishies MarineSnow Plankton Diet - 16 oz. Information

Do you have filter feeders in your aquarium? Give them the ultimate filter feeder diet with Two Little Fishies Marinesnow Plankton Diet from Pet Store. In the sea, there are a lot of organisms, some of which invisible to the naked eye, that produce beneficial matter as a byproduct of their daily metabolic existence.

Fish, corals, and other sea critters use some of this matter as a source of nourishment. This matter is also present in your aquarium but in a significantly less amount. In order to kick up the level of the nutritional substances, use Two Little Fishies Marinesnow Plankton Diet. This food is composed of zooplankton, phytoplankton, and other organic substances that are dissolved. The creatures that eat this include corals with soft or hard shells, sponges, clams, anemones, and even some fish and shrimp. This diet is made with all organic ingredients and does not contain solid egg matter or yeast.

Two Little Fishies Marinesnow Plankton Diet is the first ever aquarium invertebrate food that successfully recreates the composition and free-floating state of these nutritious matter. To feed, pour in 5 milliliters of Two Little Fishies Marinesnow Plankton Diet for every 20 gallons of water in your tank. This is good for one meal. Continue feeding them this and you will have a healthy and vibrant aquarium in no time. Grab a bottle today!

TwoLittleFishies Marine Snow Plankton Diet 473 ml (16 oz.) Net Wt. 475 g.

A Natural Planktonic Food for Filter Feeding Marine Invertebrates.

This first of its kind product reproduces the special colloidal biogenic suspended matter found in natural seawater. These colloids, collectively called "marine snow" by ocean researchers, are known to be an important element in the food chain of marine ecosystems. MarineSnow is a natural planktonic food for filter feeding marine invertebrates. This first of its kind product reproduces the special colloidal biogenic suspended matter found in natural seawater. These colloids, collectively called "marine snow" by ocean researchers, are known to be an important element in the food chain of marine ecosystems. They have been a missing element in closed system aquaria until now.

MarineSnow meets the special needs of tropical coral reef and cold water marine animals that feed on particulate and dissolved organic matter, phytoplankton and zooplankton. The formula for MarineSnow is based on natural components of ocean plankton, does not contain yeast or egg solids, and is blended to provide food packages of the right size range for filter feeders. The formula includes suspended microscopic particles ranging in size from under 20 microns up to 150 microns, and the colloidal clumps formed when it mixes with seawater are macroscopic. Ideal food for soft and stony corals, anemones, hydrozoans, feather duster worms, clams, crinoids (feather stars), sponges, tunicates (sea squirts), foraminiferans, and other filter feeders. Shrimps, brittle stars and even fishes will eat MarineSnow colloids.

MarineSnow therefore replicates plankton feeding behaviors for these creatures. Recommended dosage: 5mL per 20 gallons per feeding.

Comments: I use it for my corals, featherdusters, anenome's. They all seem to like it, my star polps swell right out. I mix 1/2tsp reefbugs and 2 tablespoons of marine snow together an feed them daily, their all doing great. Even pour alittle in my in tank refugium for my bugs, they go nut's when i put it in. It's a great product, reasonally priced, and usually shipped same day.

Comments: I use this twice a week for supplimental feeding toward the end of the day for my tank, when my actinics turn on, but an hour before moonlights kick in and actinics turn off. Anyway, you definetly get a response from all corals in your tank including other inverts like shrimp who come out to gobble this stuff up. I agree with some others that they should package this stuff in a bigger size because its just that darn good! I always keep 3-4 bottles on hand at all times in the fridge because I never want to run out! You wont regret this purchase. I went as far as having my LFS to start stocking this stuff so I dont have to wait the 1 week for ground shipping.

Comments: After 2 bottles of the 8oz Marine Snow I'm going to the 16oz size. I mostly target feed all of my corals with a mixture of Marine Snow and mysis shrimp and they love it. I have had some tell me to watch out because it will add to the bio load but after using it for almost a year I have never had a problem with it, nitrates are still at zero.

Comments: My inverts are loving TwoLittleFishies Marine Snow Plankton Diet. My Polyps eagarly catch and consume the particulates, as do the worms and other inverts. A small amount goes a long way, so it's a good value as well.

Comments: Only problem is the consistency of the liquid. It doesn't beak up into very small bits the way it has in the past. I'm concerned that it may harm the livestock?

Comments: I have been using this product for about a year now. My clams love it and as soon as it hits the water, you can see them really open and go to town with this stuff. I attribute their fast growth not only to good water conditions and lighting, but to their eating MarineSnow. I would recommend this product to anybody that has a reef tank.
