Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner 16.8oz Information

If you`re the type of aquarist who takes his reef life very seriously, then you will love the new Two Little Fishies Revive Coral Cleaner from Pet Store. This is basically a maintenance product that is meant to wash your corals and shells. It is a specially formulated soap that can effectively rinse any impurities and debris that are attached to the bodies of these organisms. It is available in a 16.8-ounce bottle, which is enough to last use for a couple of months.

As mentioned above, the main purpose of this product is to clean your corals and shells thoroughly. It makes sure to bring out the beauty of these organisms by showing off their true colors and stunning features. This solution is formulated by Julian Sprung, using natural ingredients, such as plant extracts, which guarantee you that no toxins are present in the mixture, which could prove fatal to the lives and health of your fish.

This product also features another purpose, which is to familiarize your recently-bought-or-caught, live corals with the new environment that you have set up in your aquarium. This shortens the acclimation process noticeably, and it saves you the trouble of creating different conditions for the benefit of one coral.

The Two Little Fishies Revive Coral Cleaner will come very useful to aquarist who wants to bring out the best of their corals. Plus, with this product at your disposal, you can be sure that your reef life will prosper.

Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner™ is a new product developed by Julian Sprung for cleansing live stony corals. It is a surface cleaning formula based on plant extracts. Use for all general purpose live coral cleansing, as a part of acclimation to aquariums when corals are first received, for rinsing prior to shipping, and for rinsing newly fragmented corals, such as at coral farming facilities. 500 ml (16.8 fl oz) bottle.

When to use: ReVive Coral Cleaner is designed for all general purpose live coral cleansing, including the acclimation of live corals to aquariums and rinsing newly fragmented corals.

Directions: Mix 4 capfuls (40 ml) of ReVive per gallon of clean saltwater in a bucket or other container suitable for bathing the coral. Wash coral in this mixture for a few minutes while gently swirling it or use an air stone for agitation. After the bath, remove coral from ReVive/saltwater mixture and place it in a saltwater aquarium with moderate water flow. The ReVive/saltwater may be used again for cleaning several corals, but it should be discarded after 1 hour of use.

Note: For cleaning live coral only. ReVive is not a medication, nor is it intended to be a substitute for any medication. Not for use as a household cleaner. Not for human consumption.

Keep out of reach of children: Keep cap tightly sealed. In case of contact, wash immediately from skin and clothing with plain soap and water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Drink a full glass of water, and call a physician. Irritating to eyes upon contact. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Contains: Oleum abietis 0.5%, Citrus limon 0.5%

Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner 16.8oz Reviews

"Saved my acans" - Product Review by Ben Peterson (Posted on 3/19/12)
Rating
Excellent!

Comments: I used this in conjunction with Seachem reef dip so I can't give all of the praise to this product. However, after the reef dip which is iodine based was used, I did not see much change in coloration or tissue extension in some badly anemic acans (3 colonies). I knew I had some sort of parasite or bacteria that was attacking the corals which is why I took the two-prong approach. After using the Revive, which has a counter-intuitive floor cleaner smell, I saw noted tissue acceleration and regeneration within a few days. After weeks of degrading, the acans are now accepting food again. Worth the money I spent to save $100 worth of acans. Thanks to the forums and Customer Service for bringing light to this product.

"Works well wih rics and zoas" - Product Review by Christine Santos (Posted on 2/11/12)

Excellent!

Comments: I bought this coral cleanser because it had good reviews and seemed the less harsh and stressful product out there. I used it to dip several new additions of ricrdea and zoanthids, each for 10 min, and was surprised to see they seemed to like it. All the rics and zoas remained open and showed no signs of stress, I probably could have left then in for longer with little worry.
I wasn't expecting much to come out from the dip since the corals weren't attached to much rock, only saw one amphipod head for the hills during the process, so I can say it worked on him. I wish the label instructions did provide smaller dilution ratios but if you do some simple math you can figure it out. The stuff does smell but its really not that bad, about as strong as windex, just more pleasent.

Comments: This is a must have for any reef tank owner. I used it to treat some zoa frags I bought on Craigslist, all sorts of little critters came off after I dipped. Don't chance getting any unwanted hitchhikers!

"Essential for parasite control" - Product Review by Pedro Riera (Posted on 9/12/09)

Excellent!

Comments: Julian Sprung recently gave a presentation at a meeting of our local aquarium club where he discussed various coral parasites. In my case, some of my acropora corals had red bugs. He recommended removing the affected corals and soaking them in a Revive solution. After following his instructions and returning my corals to the tank, they have shown significant improvement. Once dull, wilted corals are now showing better color, growth and polyp extension.

Great!

Comments: Good product. Did what it was supposed to. Doesn't stress corals like other dips. Used on my zoos to kill nudis and fungus. Polyps opened back up in no time. I plan on dipping all new corals before introducing into tank from now on. Learned the hard way.

Excellent!

Comments: Just wanted to say this dip has killed dozens if not hundreds of Red Bugs before they got into my tank. Product is a must for SPS keepers, beats treating your whole tank.

Excellent!

Comments: Originally obtained product in a raffle. I was scepticle about a dip that smells like floor cleaner. I tried it out on a nudibranch infested Zoanthid colony. It killed every adult Nudi on the colony within 15 min.
I now use it on all new corals I recieve. Note that it does also kill all the desireable critters also.

Comments: this stuff does a fine job of killing red bugs, but on red planaria it doesn't seem to be strong enough.

"Good stuff" - Product Review by Jeremy Foster (Posted on 10/16/08)

Excellent!

Comments: I've used a few coral dips including drug store Providone, TMPCC, Kents Tech-D, Sea Chem Reef Dip. Revive is a unique product in that it does not stress the coral nearly as much as those other products. You dip your coral and it remains the same color, even Montipora which bleach out very easily when it comes to using iodine based dips, it smells good too! The only issue I have is the directions are for a whole gallon dip, so I had to play with some numbers to get the ratio down to 16 oz. Other then that this stuff works well even on red bugs that tenaciously cling to Acros, I've found them to be the most difficult to dislodge from coral.
