Superb Item Product Review by ED (Posted on 12/25/09)

Excellent!

Comments: This trap is one of the best investments I've made in my aquarium!

I started up a new 180 gallon tank with live rock and had a ton of 'hitchhikers' on the rock. Unfortunately, these included several Gorilla Crabs (the really bad kind), which immediately set out to catch and eat the snails, hermit crabs, and anything else they could find.

Using a small piece of frozen (defrosted) shrimp, it took only minutes to catch each crab (one a day)! I smeared the trap entrance with the shrimp and then stuck it way in the back of the trap behind the trip platform.

I placed the trap in the tank near where I knew the crab hung out and watched the crab dash out of his hiding place when he smelled the shrimp, and within 10 minutes he entered the trap and sprung it.

THIS IS A GREAT DEVICE!
