Comments: I have had this for about a year. I noticed some algae growing on the probe so i decided to remove it and clean it. I removed the heat shrink with a razor knife because when i used an OHM meter and tested, it showed that it was open(wire NOT connected to the probe). It showed at the wire/probe connection alot of corrosion. The same Green stuff you see on your positive battery connection in your car engine area. I assume that this was leaking/leaching into my tank. I believe that this is the reason for my algae break out. Use CAUTION when using this probe. I will now only use ones that are incapsulated with plastic when it gets machined together since it has a water tight seal.

Comments: This product is great, all stray voltage is gone! Before using this product I had a water pump going out and would give me a small shock ( I didn't know what was shocking me until the pump completely went out later that night), I put the grounding rod in and until the pump went out, no more stray voltage.

Comments: The product is easy to use and effective. I do wish that instead of the suction cup, a clip that could be used on the lip of the aquarium top would be supplied

Comments: In response to the other review if it fell in the tank it cant zap anything because it is a ground . I thought it was a good deal looks good but dont know if it realy does anything i guess it is cheap insurance against stray voltage
