Comments: Well I got the U-tube and decided to go with flexible tubing since it has the barbed end. Hated the tubing, so decided to cut of the barb and go with pvc, much better. The tube is great works well, when I had it on the tubing I drilled the hole like others have suggested, since switching to pvc i filled the hole and instead added a check valve. Either way it works great just make sure to do one or the other, after a power outage you don't want to wake up to a wet floor :)

Comments: I got this for my return because I didn't want an ugly pvc pipe in my display. What I didn't like about it was that its specifically made for flex tubing. I ended up cutting the barbed end and cementing it to a screw on pvc adapter. Worked out great.

Comments: The joints are a snug fit but easy to pop out. It seems more polished looking than my old ones.

Comments: Very good, adjustable nozzle to send water where you want it. I just wished they came with suction cups.

Comments: Very satisfied with the directional U-Tube. I needed this piece to complete my chiller set-up. Worked out perfectly. Since I have Discus fish and they generally don't care for high water flow/movement it was important for me to be able to control where the output of the chiller was directed. The directional nozzle made that very much possible.

Comments: I bought the 1" and it worked out great! The only draw back i had was that it was made much thinner than I expected. I was worried that it would break while pushing the tubing on it. Other than that it looks great!

Comments: Took five minutes to install this after drilling small hole as suggested below (its a good idea). Fully directional and since I run a Penguin on each end I can now control the upper currents to my liking. Highly recommended !

Comments: Ok I know it's just a return tube, but you can't beat the price anywhere. Also it's like having an extra powerhead in your tank, great pressure. It has a problem in creating a reverse syphon back into the tank when the power goes out, but install a check valve like i did, and no more problem.

Comments: I was hooking up a 1hp Oceanic chiller and pump to 1 inch black corrugated hose. I needed a return tube to attach to the hose and this U tube fit perfect. This U tube is perfect for 3/4 or 1 inch applications.

Comments: This is a great product. I replaced the spray bars from my Eheim canister filter and the improvement to the water current and dispersion was immediate. Easily adjustable to allow the water to be directed where it is needed.

Comments: Works good able to adjust flow toward anywhere in the tank.

Comments: I heated a small wire nail and melted a tiny hole just above the joint and it works great. I ran it and shut the power off and the siphon quit right at the hole.

Comments: No problems here, this return worked perfectly.

Comments: Not much to review here. It's a U-Tube. Quality plastic construction. I used it as a return from an ATO, so I didn't use the directional adapter, it just popped right off.

Comments: You will need to drill a hole if you want the cheap was to help prevent back-siphoning. The product itself is WYSIWYG- solid product.

Comments: I purchased the 3/4 to 1" U-Tube return to go with a quiet one 6000 for my 150 gallon high salt tank. It works great I used one plastic 1" clamp which I purchased with tthe U-Tube no leaks first run. Recommend drilling small hole above diffuser 90 degree joint to prevent overflow back into your sump due to reverse vacum if pump fails this only applies if your filter is below your tank. Hopefully this helps.

Comments: I use Eheim canisters and wanted more options to bring the water into the tank..I don't use an air stone so I wanted to make surface current and this did the trick with it's multi positioning. CON: It wouldn't take the Eheim hose..I had to make an adapter.

Comments: Excellent product. Good looking and easiest way to return water to your aquarium without drilling the tank.
