Comments: I purchased two of these wheels a few months back, and my degus seemed to enjoy them, so I recently bought two more. The first two are still going strong, but it's only been a few days and the second pair have both broken. One broke within 24 hours of putting it in the cage! The plastic at the center of the wheel split and broke off into pieces. Next time I'll stick with the Silent Spinner 12" wheel.

Comments: Our Degus love the 12 inch flying saucer exerciser. They were very cramped and could not run well on the 6 inch silent wheel. The saucer is also silent which is good since they are housed in my sons room. It only took them a day to figure out how to use it.

Comments: I bought the flying saucer wheel for my hedgehog. It's fantastic. It's the right size, it's incredibly quiet, and very easy to clean. It detaches from the spoke and I can toss the disc into the dishwasher if I wanted. I would definitley recommend this wheel for small pets. It does take up quite a bit of room in the cage, so make sure you have enough room in the cage before purchasing.

Comments: At first glance, the Flying Saucer Wheel may seem like it would be awkward for animals but it truly is not.
<br />As a breeder, I have many hedgehogs and nearly all of them love this wheel. They run it with ease and use it constantly. I have used many different kinds of wheels over the years and in compairson, the Flying Saucer Wheel is a great choice because it is lightweight and super easy to clean ... unlike most other wheels which require intense scrubbing, major disassembly or have parts that cannot get wet. Love it!
