Product Warranty Information
Petstore.com is an authorized distributor of every single product shown on our website and in our print catalogs. Any time you purchase a product from Petstore.com, you will be entitled to that product manufacturer’s warranty against defective merchandise. Should an item not function properly after installation, please contact us within 72 hours (but no later than 30 days) of your invoice date so that our team of pet experts can assist you. In most cases, Petstore.com will assist you in the diagnosis and resolution of issues you encounter with our products.
There are instances, however, in which a product may indeed be defective. Petstore.com will replace defective products (subject to in-stock availability) within 30 days of your date of invoice. Please note, however, that you must adhere to Petstore.com’s Return Policy for such an exchange to occur.
Products which are returned to Petstore.com damaged are subject to inspection by the product manufacturer. Replacement products for damaged merchandise will ship the same (business) day in which the manufacturer approves an exchange. Products designated with “All Sales Final”, “No Returns” or similar language at time of purchase may not be returned. Warranty claims for such products thus require direct contact with the individual product manufacturer. The responsibility of return shipping costs is solely a customer expense.
Many manufacturers’ policies stipulate that a customer must contact them directly for assistance or technical support for their products. Manufacturers’ that offer this intimate level of customer support usually have a staff specially trained to service their particular product line. They should be able to walk you through your problem and help you work towards a solution. Petstore.com prides itself on our decision to only distribute products from manufacturers who offer superior product and customer support. If you encounter a manufacturer whose service is less than satisfactory, please drop us a line at customercare@petstore.com and tell us about it.
