The aquarium is to fish as the terrarium is to reptiles
. Both are glass or acrylic tanks, and both serve as homes to pets. And just like the aquarium, a terrarium needs its own lighting and heating system, too. Reptiles, in particular, are often found in the tropics, so they are used to hotter climates and brighter sunshine. If you have pet reptiles placed in terrariums, you should ensure that they get all the sunshine they need, even if it`s just simulated.
To have space for lamps and heaters, you will need the Zoo Laboratories Slider Reptile Hood from Pet Store
